I love playing with soft pastels but I had not considered it something that I could do finished beautiful paintings with until my friend Roberta gave me a new set of pastels and showed me Karen Margulis‘ YouTube channel. I got excited and decided to look through my photos on my phone and find something to paint, these trees were really striking. I think the end result is really fun.
